Hi, Mark.

It’s been about a month since Petey’s training ended. I’ve been watching for him to revert to the banshee-wailing whirling dervish that made me hesitant to walk him, as his ear-splitting screams disturbed the neighbors and had them rushing outside to see who or what was being tortured. I don’t think anyone ever really believed my explanation that Petey was only greeting someone or somedog else and inviting them to play.

Now, when we walk, if he spots a potential playmate, all I have to do is say “Find it” and his attention is immediately diverted. It’s like an “off” button for his acting out, and it’s made all the difference. I am no longer mortified so I get what I want, Petey is praised and treated so he gets what he wants, and peace has been restored to the neighborhood. 🙂

I am so glad that we found you as I had NO desire to use a punishment-based training method. I knew there had to be a better way and you are it. Many thanks for your help!

Thanks so much for all your help! I honestly don’t know what I would have done with Allie , had you not offer to train her. We had already attended one 6 week session puppy class, from which she never received her certifate of completion due to poor behavior and I was actively pursuing other training options to suit her needs when you contacted me to offer your services. As a life time animal lover/owner and even as an employee of a corporation that focuses on shelter animals, owner retention and public education, it is baffling to me how such a small, young puppy could possibly possess so many anxiety and alpha dominant related issues.

Mark Tipton is a wonderful trainer. He worked with me and my puppy, Maddox, and I saw amazing results in how my dog behaved and how he responded to me. I adopted Maddox at 6 months old and “high energy dog” is an understatement. Maddox was a strong, defiant, alpha male. Mark helped me break Matty of his bad habits (chewing, jumping, digging to name a few) He taught Matty several commands and he taught me to be the leader.

Mark’s love for animals shines through everything he does. Their well-being and happiness are his first priority. And he’s committed to helping his clients bond with their pets, effectively making loving, rewarding relationships.

Mark, Tom and I cannot thank you enough for giving us the skills to work with our dogs.  We just returned from a trip to Sacramento and our girls behaved beautifully…well, Cali barked and I had to quiet her with attention which is not correct but I am able to do that at home!  Belle shows so much more confidence and is always so happy even when Cali does bark at her.  I tell everyone about you and I hope that your business takes off.  You are a great trainer and I will call you when I need more help.  Right now we are still working on the basics with our “old” girls!  We received our certificates yesterday and were so touched.  We leave for Arizona next week as I begin my trips back and forth to visit my daughters. Much success to you and Lisa as you enjoy your retirement!
